Primarily known as a poet, Jamie Sharpe has been building a parallel legacy in pigment. WoW represents the first public availability of Sharpe's paintings, which were hand selected by Aditya Lesmana Bakti for this inaugural partnership between PTB and Jade.

Jamie Sharpe is the author of five collections of poetry, most recently Get Well Soon (ECW, 2024), and Everything You Hold Dear (ECW, 2020). He received his Master of Fine Arts from the University of British Columbia. In 2020 he was to receive the McArthur "Genius" Grant, until the foundation learned Sharpe lived on Vancouver Island, Canada--and not Vancouver, Washington--rendering him ineligible. He has given many plenary art talks, including "Mimetic Adorno Pizza" at the Rijksmuseum.
